This past Thanksgiving, when handing out our yearly Reederbunch photos, my mom said, "We should do a photo of everyone." With that statement and knowing the Mathna's were coming to NC for the holidays, I made the appointment. December 26, 2009 we had a Mathna/Reederbunch photo taken. Here are the the photos from our sitting that I purchased.
Here are a few photos from December 25, 2009. My parents and sister were able to make the drive to NC for some holiday fun! They brought a ton of gifts with them, my favorite being my new pink ipod. Thanks Dad and Mom! The children also enjoyed all their gifts from Pappy and Grammy and Aunt Kendra. It was a great visit. Enjoy the photos!
Grace's birthday is December 23. Here are a few photos from her special day. The icing on this cake was delicious! With only four ingredients... 1 cup soy milk, 1 cup raw cashews, 1 cup dates, and 1/4 cup of unsweetened coco, all blended together. I dipped fresh strawberries in the icing as a little treat for mommy, it was amazing! Grace asked for strawberries for weeks before this. They were soo... yummy! She enjoyed her gifts and her time with family. Caleb enjoyed being a big brother and putting one of her toys together, I enjoyed watching him and seeing his maturity in the assembly process. Everyone is growing up! (The photos uploaded in reverse order.)

One of Christopher's favorite sports is ice hockey. Grace has always wanted to go to a game with daddy, but has never had a chance. (Christopher normally takes the older two children along.) Last night was a special birthday surprise, as Christopher took Grace to her very first Hurricane hockey game. And Grace took her best friend and sister, Zoe, with her. Here are a few photos of the girls ready to leave with daddy for the game. They were super excited!

This week marks 30 weeks of pregnancy. I can't believe baby Mary Kate will be here in just ten short weeks! We have been keeping busy in the Reeder house, enjoying a break from school, and preparing for the holiday season. I've also been doing a ton of cooking as we prepare for our holiday visitors.

Praise the Lord from whom all Blessings Flow!!! With Mary (baby #7) due in less than 12 weeks, we knew that time was ticking for finding a larger vehicle to transport our growing bunch. We have been doing research, praying for wisdom, and have been constantly on the look out for a 15 passenger van. Well... our Patience has finally paid off, we found it. This past Tuesday night, we purchased a vehicle that will be large enough for our growing family, safe, and hopefully last us for a long time. For those who like to know the details, it is a Pueblo Gold 2009 Ford E350 XLT 15 Passenger Van. Here is a photo...
Last night the children enjoyed decorating for the Holidays. We played music, decorated the tree, and enjoyed a yummy snack of homemade healthy vegan banana apple oatmeal raisin cookies and Silk Soy "Nog" (a processed treat). The children all had a blast. Enjoy the photos!
During our PA trip, we spent time visiting with Christopher's family, however, we didn't get many photos. Here are the few random photos we got at the Reeder's home. I was disappointed that I didn't get photos of the cousins as I normally do. Dispite the lack of photos, we did enjoy our visit. :) Thanks for the visit!
We had a lovely Thanksgiving with the Mathna's. And thanks to Dr. Furhman's special holiday recipes, we were able to enjoy a delightful vegan feast. On our menu was Cauliflower Spinach Mashed "Potatoes", Sweet Potatoes Walnuts and Apples, Thanksgiving Non-Meat Loaf, Vegan Version Gravy, and Delicious Guilt-Free Pumpkin Pie w/ Oat Pie Crust (all from Dr. Furhman's Website). I also cooked up some Collards, Sugar-Free Cranberry Sauce, and a Salad. It took me a few days to get our feast ready, but it was well worth the treat shuttling it from NC to PA. My Mom also made non- Vegan food for the rest of the family, so we had A LOT of food! Here are the photos from our Thanksgiving Feast.
Elijah just turned 3 years old. For his birthday, we had healthy vegan cake (http://veganbarbie.blogspot.com/2009/11/chocolate-cupcakes.html), Silk Soy "Nog" (which is vegan, but processed), and pistachio nuts (at Elijah's request). Elijah also enjoyed presents and just being with family. Enjoy the photos.
