So this morning, after eating our green smoothies. We were going through some of our library books. One of them was a kids cookbook. Since Abi is now 8, she is learning to cook. She is currently making 1 meal a week. And helping whenever she gets the chance. As Abi and I looked through the kids cookbook, which we have to adapt most of the recipes to our vegan diet, we ran across a recipe for Monkey Milkshakes. Abi and I looked at each other and said.... Let's make them, now!!! What a wonderful suprise for the rest of the children! They were wonderful!!! Here is the recipe....
Serves 2 (we made this recipe X4 for the bunch)
Put all the ingredients into your blender.
3 Tablespoons of peanut butter or 1/4 cup of nuts
2/3 cup Milk (we use soy)
1 Tablespoon of Unsweetened Coca
8 Ice Cubes
Yummy!!! The kids were licking their cups clean!
