It's a......

Today we found out the gender of baby #7. We normally all squeeze into the ultrasound room, but with the children getting older and the immodesty of mommy. We decided to leave the children with our friends the Townsend's, and then in the evening take the children out for dinner and tell them. Here is the video revealing baby #7's gender!

September Date Night

We have a great set up with some friends of ours. Once a month, we watch their children and they watch ours for date nights. It has been a blessing to both families. This past Friday night was Chris and my September Date Night. We enjoyed our evening out and our special time alone. An internet friend of mine just did a post on cheap activities for you and your spouse. You can see them here... http://www.butfirstwehavecoffee.com/2008/09/46-ideas-for-a-cheap-date-with-your-spouse/ Date nights don't have to be expensive, just time to be with the one you love. :)

First Day of 09-10 School Year

Here are the photos I took this morning before we started our school day... Enjoy! (Warning... I'm not wearing makeup! And I forgot to take a photo of Hannah.)

Camping Photos

Here are a few photos of camping. For the special occasion we got Smartdogs. These are soy vegan hotdogs. You could never tell they weren't real hotdogs. Enjoy the photos.

Road Trip!

This past weekend our family went to New Bern, NC, camping. Chris rode in a 100 mile ride and the children and I spent the morning at Tryon Palace. We weren't allowed to take photos inside the buildings, so all our photos are outside in the palace gardens. In the afternoon, we met up at Union Park for a picnic lunch, before returning to our camp site. Here are the photos of the Bike Ride and Tryon Palace.

North Carolina Museum of History

Even on school break, the learning never ends! The children and I spent a day at the North Carolina Museum of History. We enjoyed the a very cool pirate exhibit. Enjoy the photos!
