Today was day 4 with 10 children. It was another great day. Today we had the pleasure of visiting with Mrs. Stetler, a wonderful lady from our church. She came over to visit and joined us on a walk to the park. It was a beautiful day out. I added a few photos from our day. Enjoy!

Today was another great day with the Townsend kids. I take too many photos to post. But here are my two favorite from today. Notice the boys were shooting away from the Townsend van. :) And I couldn't resist matching the girls today. Soo... cute!!!

This past Monday, the Reederbunch went to the NC State Fair. We all had a ton of fun! It was a long day, but a good day. I made a You Tube of all the photos we took. Enjoy! Blogger cuts some of the photos off, but if you click on the video, it should take you to You Tube where you can watch the video.

Chris works for Skanska and this past Saturday was their fall company picnic. It was cold, but that didn't stop the fun. Here are the few photos I took. We ended up coming home with 13 beautiful pumpkins. They told us to take one, but at the end their were soo... many left, we were told to take another, and ended up with 13! Our front steps look wonderful, pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere. When I get time, I will slowly cut them up and add them to soups.
Yes, you read right. 100 pounds of crisp and delicious gala apples. Mmmm... I got a great deal of 100 pounds for just $40. Well over half have already been eaten. Some were made into our children's favorite, dehydrated apples! Last Saturday, I woke up bright and early so that I could get them into the dehydrator before our busy busy weekend. Caleb was up and asked to help. So the two of us cut and laid out 20 lbs of apples onto our dehydrator sheets. We had a nice time working, talking, and snacking on apples. The photo shows one of our 50lb boxes and our apple progress.

This morning we had some morning drama as Elijah got his head stuck. It might not look like it, but this kid was REALLY STUCK! We were trying to get him out of almost 45 mins. Finally with the help of Abi and Caleb and a lot of lotion. We push/pulled him out. He may have a couple of black and blue marks on the sides of this head, but he was okay. He will not be doing this again!
This past Saturday, the Reederbunch went to Philips Corn Maze. We all had a blast. We defeated the corn maze, by answering Bible question along the way. The child road a super fast cow train, I was shocked at how fast it went. The whole family took a hay ride. The kids were able to play in a corn box (like a sand box, with corn), crawl through tunnels and go down huge slides. Caleb loved shooting the corn cannon. And lots lots more. It was a very nice Saturday as a family! Enjoy the photos!

We have lived in NC for going on three years and have never gone to the state fair. This year that will all change. Not only do we already have all our tickets, but the four oldest children have entered one of their drawing in the art contest. Yes, I forgot to take photos! We went over to the fair grounds this afternoon and turned in the children's art work. It was very exciting to see the fair grounds getting set up. Everyone is getting ready for the NC State Fair!!!

We have been doing well here in NC. I have been busy switching out the children's clothing for fall, searching for a 15 passenger van online, and schooling the children. I don't have any new photos, but thought I'd do a quick post to let everyone know we are doing well.
