Vinyl Wall Art

There is a new thing out these days and it's called Vinyl Wall Art.
And I love the look, however, it isn't cheap.  That is, until I found Fruitful Vine Creations and their "Deal of the Week!" Each week, they come out with a new deal that is normally at least 50% off.

Check out mine out below!

Habit Appliance

When my our daughter Zoe was born, we thought it was sooo... cute how she would suck her thumb.  She was such a good girl and always content.  As the years went on, the dentist would occasionally say something to me about her thumb sucking, telling her it needs to stop soon.  I was told when she lost her front teeth and was about to get permanent teeth we would have to do something.  Well, it happened, Zoe lost her first front tooth, and thus began our journey into the world of orthodontics.

Over the last four weeks, we have had weekly visits to Zoe's new orthodontics' office.  Each visit was short and building up until today!  Today Zoe got her habit appliance.  It's official name is Bluegrass Roller.  Yes, Zoe's favorite color is yellow and that's the color she choose for her 'bead'.

One of my favorite verses.  The words from our mouths should be edifying, building one another up, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Early this past Spring, we hatched a few chicks from our own chickens.  We were excited to see that one of them laid an egg!  It's super small.  In this photo is a normal Reeder chicken egg along side the first egg of our newest chickens.

Creamy Kale with a Kick

This past Lord's Day, several people asked about my Creamy Kale with a Kick, which was served with  brown rice.  The recipe is from my old time Nutritarian friend Jamie, shout out to Jamie!!! haha...

I believe it was her mother that made up the recipe from something she ate?

I have been calling it Creamy Kale with a Kick, it's totally Dairy Free and Gluten Free.

Mix the up the following ingredients, I use my Vitamix.

4 Tbsp Tahini Sauce
3 1/2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
4 tsp Bragg's Liquid Aminos
2 tsp Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar
2 small cloves or 1 large clove of garlice
Thin as desired

Chop and Steam Kale or Open up a can of Kale and drain.
(We get #10 cans for $1.99 at Bargain Foods.  Looks like this except a larger can.)

Pour Dressing over Kale.  Serve with Brown Rice.

Mmmm...  Reeder kids love it!

Updated to say I did 4x the recipe for my #10 can of Kale.

New Picture

I picked this picture up at the Goodwill last week.  What a find!  I wanted a large picture for behind our couch, and I really do like it.  I believe it's a magnolia?  I plan to antique the frame, but had to hang it up to keep it safe.  There were a few close calls.  It's safer hanging up.  I read an article on antiquing using shoe polish, so as soon as I can find Chris'  I plan to give it a try.
